~~~_______Fish and Kid_______~~~ This had to be a coma. Or at least, maybe this was what a coma was like? He didn't know, since computers usually didn't give weird messages that make bright lights shine and suck a human INTO a computer! On that note, maybe this dark skinned teenager was just dreaming. Yeah, that was much more of a logical theory. Theories however need to be tested before they could be considered facts, although science never made up its mind. But as science is a constant state of observation, Thomas needed to get up before he could really do anymore thinking. He let out a somewhat annoyed groan, as his body hurt a little bit before his eyes opened in order to see what was around him.
What exactly was around him didn't help matters much. The instant he got a clear view of the world around him, the boy shot into an upright kneeling position, looking around frantically, "H-Holey dooley! This i-is b-bloody crazy! A-A jungle?!" From there he stared, mouth hanging open and eyes wide. However, a thought went into his head, "W-Wait! Maybe this i-is a mere dream! Th-That's it!" Quickly he shut his eyes hard, waiting a few moments. Upon guessing he kept his eyes shut for a good length of time, he opened up his vision again. To his displeasure, Thomas remained in this strange jungle that he was sure didn't exist in Brisbane. A worried sigh of defeat escaped his mouth, as he was sure that he was in a whole lot of trouble.
His discovery that he could touch, see, smell, and hear the things around him only proved further that this was all real. All of this stemming from him simply accepting a beta invite to a Digimon game? Something was definately wrong now, being sucked into his computer aside. Thomas simply hesitated before begining to pack up some things around him, his satchel thankfully being one of the things with him. Upon looking inside, everything that was normally inside his bag was there, especially his inhalers. Breathing a bit heavily now from being stressed out, the teenager quickly took one of his inhalers and used it. Didn't need an asthma attack to happen, and he was sure he was on the verge of one at this very moment. Putting it back into his back, he adjusted his glasses which thankfully were not broken.
Nearby though, a colorful looking creature was simply floating around, just a fish out of water. Granted, a fish out of water usually didn't work out too well, but Swimmon wasn't too concerned. In fact, he typically let various things going over his head. This was kind of a problem half the time, and other digimon tended to avoid him. A few moments of swerving went by, until something caused the fish to stop, and look towards another direction. Surprisingly, the rookie saw a human kid sitting in the middle of the jungle, "Heey that's like, a HUMAN. This is like, weird." Without a care as to what the boy's reaction would be, Swimmon gently moved towards the dark skinned human without much of a care.
Although, this would prove to be a bad decision, as soon Thomas felt as though he was being watched. Cringing in fear, his head slowly turned around to look at what was staring at him. When he came face to face with a floating, tropical fish, there was only one reaction, "A-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
First a giant cockroach and now a night alone with a grinning creature in the jungle. She was really starting to doubt her life choices. Surprisingly, the nights of the Digital World were just as cold as the ones back home. She wasn't one for actually sneaking out at night, but when she did, she would have to bundle up. Shorts and a t-shirt would not cut it, and her skirt didn't suffice as well. She brought her hands up, rubbing her arms as a chill shook her thin frame. It wasn't even nightfall anymore, but the sun didn't do her any good when she was still in the shade of towering trees. Blue eyes glanced over to the grinning Digimon floating around her, a frown tugging the corners of her mouth downwards at his happy-go-lucky nature. If only he knew the danger they were in... Well, mainly her. With a sigh, she shook her head, blue gaze scanning the trees for a way out. Kuramon had mentioned something about a village or town not far from here, but she had yet to find it. Aaaaaaaaah!Aleit halted her steps, head turning back and forth as a scream echoed around the jungle. Sheesh, there were more humans around here? Or perhaps another Digimon? She wouldn't doubt it. Regardless of who owned such a scream, there was one thing on her mind: entertainment. With a grin, she turned towards Keramon who, in turn, let out a cackle as if he were thinking the same thing. Muttering a let's go, the girl strode forwards, following the leftover echoes of the scream until she stumbled upon a slight clearing. And there was the other human, freaking out over a fish. How weak. Her grin widened, something that was not friendly placed upon her face, almost matching the floating being beside her. Striding forwards, messenger bag quickly readjusted on her shoulder, the girl came to a halt a few feet away from the human and his literal flying fish. " Girly boy can't handle a fish, huh?"
~~~_______Fish and Kid_______~~~ Nothing more than a frightened, wide eyed stare was aimed at the flying fish. But of course, when a talking fish out of water wandered up to someone, most people would react in similar manners. Either way, Thomas simply began backing up from the talking fish, but quickly stopped when he heard another voice speak up. It was rather demeaning, but that little description was in the back of his mind right now. Mainly because the voice apparently belonged to a human girl. On one hand, it was slightly a relief that there was another human. But on the other she seemed perfectly content with yet another digimon floating next to her. If she wasn't scared, then Thomas probably looked extremely cowardly at the moment, "B-B-B-But... f-fish don't talk!"
Speaking of said fish, his attention had also shifted to the girl and digimon. For a moment, he simply observed their appearance. Swimmon however took this differently, "WOOOOAH there's like, another human brah! I think I'm seeing things." With that the digimon floated up to the human girl, and got a closer look. He continued with that as well as the digimon next to her. Didn't seem like the friendly sort of monster, but that didn't stop Swimmon's mouth, "So you're a REAL human babe here... and this 'mon doesn't look friendly much." With that the rookie floated back a little bit, and simply turned upside down. Weird monster that much was for certain. He could've been affected by something, or it was just how he was. Likely the latter... yeah...
In any case, now came the problem of the human boy about to defile his pants. Thomas looked at the three others in the area, his mind taking all of this in. Some logical observations began to form inside his head, and familiarity was from the digimon that was with the girl. From his experiences with Digimon games, this was a Keramon. Standing up suddenly, as well as picking up his satchel and adjusting it on his person, he hesitated for a moment. "Wait... i-is th-this... the beta f-for the new Digimon g-game I s-signed up for? It said n-nothing a-about being sucked i-into a-another bloody world!", he exclaimed. Thomas soon cringed though, as he wasn't sure if that was the smartest thing to say in this situation.
Perhaps the scariest part about this was the fact that this girl was a complete stranger to him. He didn't know who she was or how she got here. More and more questions were going through his head, and it was becoming rather unbearable to put up with. Still, Thomas had no choice but to wait, and he couldn't exactly think of a better option at the moment.
